Pocky's (Un)Comfy Spot

Pocky follows everywhere I go, as long as we are in the same room, he finds his comfy spot (which doesn't look like comfortable to me) in the room and fall asleep...
Like now, I am typing my blog in the office and he is...

in the recycle box...
Let's take a close look...

Yep, he is sleeping.
When I'm cooking, he is...

in the kitchen corner.

When we go to bed, he is...

under the bed.
When I'm packing for a trip, he is...

in the suite case. Yep..very difficult to pack(^_^;)

When we are watching TV, he is...

on the edge of the couch.
When Pretz lays down on top of Pocky, he is...

still on the edge of the couch.
Only time he isolates himself is when there is thunder storm outside. He is...

in the bathroom hiding (^_^;)
On the other hand, Pretz is an independent girl!

At least someone is using dog bed. Good thing that we have dog bed in each room (*^_^*)

Nash Square

Another nice day! Let's finish up breakfast and go to Nash Square for walk!

Here we came to Nash Square ＼(^o^)／....well I made sounds like we came all the way to Nash Square but actually it is located only two minutes from our home...(^_^;)
Anyway! Here we are!

It is nothing compared to Meridian Park in DC but we are lucky to live right next to the square. 

ok ok Pocky...I just wanted to take few pictures before you guys get tired (^^) Let's go walk!

Since this square is surrounded by busy road, I can't let them off leash especially Pretz m(__)m... but they seem they are still enjoying their walk (*^_^*)
The square is well maintained by the city. It is very clean and you get to see pretty flowers here and there.

I will bring them here as much as possible!

Pet Shower

I've been waiting for a pet shower to arrive since we moved into the new place. Finally came!

The last time I gave Pocky and Pretz a nice bath was before we moved, no wonder they are a bit stinky (^_^;) They look bushy too, they can use some trimming...

Brunch

75degrees! The weather was too nice to be home today. Papa finished work early and took us to brunch yey(^^♪ We walked towards downtown for 10 minutes, arrived at The Raleigh Times Bar!

Also there was a small cafe; The Morning Times, it is known as the place to go to get a coffee and light meal☆ミ

They are located right next each other and outside seating is set up along the street. You can get a meal from the Raleigh Times Bar and get a cup of coffee from the Morning Times, very good deal! So here we are (^^)v

Papa was working without breakfast so he got...

Their fries are deeeeelicousssssss!! I think I stole half of his fries...(ﾉ´∀｀*)
and I got...

Of course I didn't share my meal...(；´∀｀)
I have to say it was a perfect brunch. We will definitely come back here again to try other meals!
While we are having brunch, Pocky was of course right under my chair...

He was chilaxing and enjoying this weather. On the other hand, Pretz was busy watching people around us...

I don't know what or who she was watching but she was hard core staring at something to the point that she couldn't focus on the picture...Pretz is a very curious girl (^_^;)
Well we are satisfied, let's walk back to home! We can use some walking exercise!(^^)!

 ummm...you guys got some treats...it'll be dinner time soon (b´∀｀) right??
Fine...I guess I'm going to feed dinner little earlier than usual today...(#･∀･)

Weekend in Charlotte

Feels like spring is around the corner （*^_^*）

We made a trip to Charlotte for one of my good friend's birthday. I lived in Charlotte for six years. It's always nice to visit a very familiar place!
One of places to go in the south is definitely Bojangles'＼(^o^)／ There is no Bojangles' up north so we stop by there every time we visited home. Awwee good to be back (^^ゞ

Before start eating, Pretz was giving Papa a special service!

Awweee what a good girl (^^) now I don't have to do that for him (^^)v
Pocky and Pretz enjoyed running around outside. I bet Pocky misses being in the suburb.

After enjoying nice weather outside all day, my friend cooked delicious Korean food for dinner even though it was her birthday...(^_^;)

She also made Kalbi as a main dish but I was too hungry to the point that I completely forgot about taking picture...(T_T) at least I did not forget about birthday cake picture...Happy Birthday!!!

We didn't do anything crazy but it is always nice to just chill and do little things with your good friends. Apparently Pocky and Pretz had a good weekend in Charlotte (^^♪

Pocky also secretly enjoyed Hello Kitty's company...(´ε｀ )

Well it's time to go home before it gets dark. No worry, Charlotte is only two hours away now. We will be back soon ☆ミ

Packing and Moving...

We finally settled into a new home in North Carolina. Let me tell you how crazy it's been this past 10days...m(__)m  We started packing last Thursday, I definitely under estimated the things that we needed to pack. It's always little stuffs take forever to pack (~_~メ) and our house was looking like this...

Sorry Pocky...we will get things out of your way as soon as possible...
While Pocky was frozen by this mess, Pretz was...

Sorry Pretz...but we don't want to lose you in this mess and I know you will sneak out while we are moving in and out and visit neighbors...just a little while...
Couple our friends and even cousin Choco came to help us move so things went very smoothly☆彡

It was a crazy last day because of not only moving stuffs in the truck, we still had to clean up the place and out by 8am on Saturday. We ended up stay-up all night but as a result...

＼(^o^)／ We did it!!!
We loved our place very much. It was sad to see empty room and say good-bye to great home...m(__)m

After five hours of driving, we arrived to Raleigh, North Carolina AKA new home!

We are very excited about new place and definitely happy about more space!!!!
Unpacking is not going to be fun but look on the bright side...we can do it!
Overall Pocky and Pretz were very well behaved about this whole moving situation. I am so proud of our kids（*^_^*）
