SPARKcon

The past weekend was the seventh annual SPARKcon.

What is SPARKcon?? It's an event to showcase, celebrate and influence the creative momentum of the Triangle region of NC.

One of my favorites is artSPARK with the chalk street paintings. Since we had a little spare time on Saturday, we took our kids and cousin Choco to Fayetteville St for the street art. As soon as we turned onto the street, it was already filled with paintings!!!!

Supposedly, over 400 artists worked to transform the streets into beautiful works of art!!! Every piece was amazing...

Pretz was especially excited to be around so many people. She couldn't focus on walking straight but at the same time, she looked like she was checking out each piece of art (^_^;)
I also found the perfect art works for Choco and Pocky!
There was also bazaarSPARK on Fayetteville St with around 50 local artists and designers selling their wares! One of Papa's friends co-owns FYSH clothing company (http://www.fyshclothing.com/temp/shop.html) and they had their own booth.
They were doing some serious business! One more push, maybe our kids can help them (*^_^*)
They were definitely getting a lot of attention from people on the street! "Please stop by this booth..."
Assistant Manager is right...where is Pretz...while Pocky and Choco were working hard!!! Well...like I said earlier, she was still excited with all the things going on there...she was all over the place...

Anyway it was a great event! I'm already excited about the street painting next year!

And now, it's grooming time for Pocky and Pretz... The last time was only a bath and a light trim. They are getting the whole grooming this time!
I actually do like his hair long, but it grows very quickly...hopefully this will last at least three weeks...

I was growing Pretz's facial hair out on purpose to give her an afro-style cut, but I came to the conclusion that she may not have the density for that...so I did something different this time...(*^_^*)

I love it! She still looks very girly! (She just doesn't act like one...(^_^;)...hopefully one day....)

I also had another grooming the other day, an Australian Shepherd named Rusty! He was a very energetic and happy dog. It looked like he enjoyed every moment and movement he made. It makes me happy by just looking at him (ノ´∀`*)

Goodbye to the summer coat, and let's getting ready for fall!
