Last Grooming Day in DC

Yesterday was my last grooming day in DC. It's been almost three years since we moved to DC. I was very lucky to get to know all the doggies in the city! Thank you so much for all your business and support during my time in DC （＾－＾）


Let's see my last three doggies that I groomed. The first is a Cocker Spaniel and (we think) English Setter mix, Carter! She lives in our neighborhood, Pocky and Carter are very close friend (^^)  I always give them play time before starting groom her, and they play "catch me if you can"! Her polka dot stand out after grooming, she also reminds me Dalmatian puppy!! So cute (＞ω＜)ﾉ

The second is a Golden Retriever, Chloe! She comes in almost every month for bathing and trimming.  She also has boarded with us many times that I feel as if she is a part of our family. (#^.^#)  She got de-shedding treatment and trimming hind legs and paws. She looks gorgeous as usual!

The last is a Hairless Chinese Crested, Genzo! Even he is a hairless one as you can see his hair still grow on his face and head, paws, and tail. For spring, I decided to take his socks off and clean his face except his "crest" (^^)

He is a cool guy, looks super Rock and Roll star ☆彡

I am going to miss all of you...I bet Pocky and Pretz are very sad to leave their friends too m(__)m
Hopefully we can make many new friends in NC too.

Packing from tomorrow...here comes reality...

Meridian Hill Park

It's not even March yet, today was such a beautiful day outside. Before my grooming started, I took Pocky and Pretz to Meridian Hill Park right cross from our building!

 First thing I noticed is they haven't filled up water in the fountain yet...m(__)m   I guess it's still supposed to be winter so they don't keep water running. I happened to have some pictures from summer to share so here we go (^^)

If you ever get a chance to visit DC especially spring and summer time, I highly recommend to stop by Meridian Hill Park ☆彡It is worth it to walk through the park.
Unfortunately Pretz didn't get to see pretty water fall, but we still took a couple shots at the park (^^)v

Another cool thing about this park is the location. As you see from the name, this park is located on the hill! The view from the park is very nice as well (*^_^*)

I always give them off leash time just a little bit to enjoy the park more. That is why Pocky likes to come here so much (^_^;)

We have one more week left to enjoy this park, but I promised Pretz that we will come visit here when water is filled!


Today's closing is Lhasa Apso, Chase! Since he goes to hiking in the woods everyday, he generally keeps his hair shorter than usual. Apparently he is having so much fun in the woods, he was extremely  matted. (+д+) We decided to shave him up and give him nice and fresh start! Luckly I could save his facial hair and tail (^^)v   Now he is no more matted!

Hide and Seek

One of Pocky's favorite game in the house is hide and seek.
Basically I will hide a toy in the pile of blankets and he digs in and find it. He is very good at it!

Good job! Pretz follows Pocky's lead but she hasn't figured out what she is supposed to do yet...learning process. Let's see if she can do on her own here. Good luck Pretz ＼(^o^)／

While Pocky and Pretz were playing hardcore hide and seek, the Pooh crew at the window promised themselves to never get down from the window... (^_^;)

Today's closing is a Golden-doodle, Bacchus! He is the biggest Golden-doodle I've ever seen! He has boarded at our place many times in the past, such a sweet handsome big boy. He sure makes me want to get my own Golden- doodle...(´ε｀ ) Big teddy bear cut!

We were over at friend's house, decided to have couples Valentine's Day together (*^_^*) Everybody seems have "partner" except cousin Choco...(#･∀･) No worry Choco, Auntie did not forget about you! Hope you like her (^^)v

Awweee...Where is Pretz???

Well...you guys do your thing, I am going to join adult party now...
Anyway we got Valentine's special, a heart shape pizza from Papa John's. It wasn't perfectly shaped but it is the thought that counts!

And Godiva chocolate and wines from boys!

Nothing crazy but it was great at home Valentine's Day　v(´∀｀*v)

Today's closing is a Chocolate Labrador, Satchmo! He is a big boy but very sweet dog. He loves to mess with Pretz whenever he comes for grooming (^^) He got de-shedding treatment and got off lots of winter hair. Whole time he just wanted to go play with Pretz...you are all set, now go play (*^_^*)

Ready for Valentine's Day!

A day before Valentine's day, Pocky and Pretz are getting ready!
Pocky, you are going to have a Valentine for the first time yey!

And lucky you Pretz! This is your first Valentine's Day and your boyfriend is waiting for you already❤

Ugh...all she care about is food...(T_T) Poor Pocky...It's okay, you guys look great yey~~~...

Awweee, you guys look so cute together ❤ Looks like we are ready for the Valentine's Day (b´∀｀) 

Today's closing is a Miniature Schnauzer, Sly ☆彡His parents always want him to look like a puppy and I totally understand! I have had mix feeling this past year when I celebrated Pocky's birthday. I am happy and want to celebrate his birthday at the same time, I don't like to see him aging  m(__)m  That is why It is important to look young always! Right Sly??!! (*^_^*)

Adams Morgan

We were so lucky to find a place in Adams Morgan when we moved to DC. Everything is walking distance, very convenient (*^^*) Especially when it's nice outside, I just love to walk around with Pocky and Pretz in Adams Morgan!
A lot of pretty buildings and yummy places to eat ヽ(^o^)丿

It is very important, Starbucks!!! One summer, I literally went here every morning...essential ^^;

And Pocky and Pretz's favorite dog park!

We will definitely miss living in the city, gotta enjoy this while we can!
After a long walk in Adams Morgan, kids already dreaming...No shame...I wonder where they got that from...Probably Papa...(^_^;)

Today's closing is Alaskan Malamute, Inuk! He is a very handsome Malamute(#^^#) He comes for bathing every three weeks, therefore his shedding is very minimum! As you can tell I am tricking him with a treat. Very good pose, the treat is all yours! 

Housewarming + Super Bowl

It's been about a month since good friends of ours moved into a little vintage house in VA. We are invited for dinner, and watched super bowl together. Giants VS Patriots = Boys VS Girls grrrrr....
While the adults are enjoying game, food, and drinks, our kids are having playtime (*^_^*)

The house was nicely decorated with all the new furniture and arts! It was completely different than when they first moved in (ﾉ´∀｀*)  Most importantly...look at this; tonight's course....

Even though girls' team(Patriots) lost, it was the Best Super Bowl Supper ever!!!!

Today's closing is a Springer Spaniel, Casey (´ε｀ ) She LOVES swimming and she does swim very well! Spring is around the corner. I took the winter coat off and now she is ready to go swimming!!! ヽ(^o^)丿
